Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Alliance Optimal LLC ("AO", "we", "us") handles information on balavedians.com, the Balaveda campus ambassador portal, and the AO-run social accounts @balavedians on Instagram and TikTok.

Balaveda is the brand and merchant of record for the drinks. AO runs this site and those social accounts. The shop at balaveda.com and Amazon listings have their own policies.

1. Who we are

Alliance Optimal LLC is a New Mexico limited liability company. Contact: service@balavedians.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the program:

Application. Name, email, school or campus, optional chapter interest, Instagram and TikTok handles, audience size, and why you want to join.
Account. Email for magic-link sign-in (no password). Session cookies, IP address, and user agent so the login stays secure.
Program activity. Unique discount code, attributed Shopify orders (order id, amounts, items, refunds), commission ledger entries, points, and optional mission proofs (photos you upload).
Payout. The PayPal email you save on the dashboard so we can send cash after the 30-day hold. We never collect bank routing or account numbers.
Admin notes. Internal notes an AO admin writes about an application or ambassador. Those are not shown to other ambassadors.
Social APIs. If we connect Instagram or TikTok to post as @balavedians, the platform gives us tokens and a user id for that account. We use them to upload content we already made. We do not scrape your personal TikTok or Instagram followers from those APIs.

We do not collect bank account numbers, routing numbers, or government ID through this site. You can save a PayPal email for cash payouts after the 30-day hold.

3. How we use it

Review applications and run the ambassador program.
Send magic links, approval mail, and program notices.
Attribute sales to your code and show earnings in the dashboard.
Post and manage content on @balavedians (Instagram and TikTok).
Keep the site secure and debug failures.
Comply with law (including tax reporting if a year requires it).

We do not use your data to train public AI models.

4. Cookies and similar tech

We use a session cookie (and similar storage) so you stay signed in after a magic link. That is required for the dashboard. We do not run a third-party ad pixel on this site. Analytics, if added later, will be privacy-safe (visitors, referrers, coarse location) and this page will be updated.

5. When we share

Balaveda. Approved ambassador names, codes, and sales attributed to the program, so they can ship samplers and honor discounts.
Vendors who host this product. Vercel (site), Neon (database), email delivery (transactional mail), Shopify (discount codes and order webhooks). They process data for us, not as a second ambassador program.
Meta and TikTok. Only to operate @balavedians: upload videos, captions, and required disclosures. We do not sell your applicant list to them as an ad audience.
Law. If we must, or to protect people from fraud or abuse.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Retention

Applications and ambassador records stay while the program is useful and for a reasonable period after offboarding (ledgers, tax, and dispute records). You can ask us to delete what we are not required to keep. Magic-link tokens expire. Social tokens are refreshed or revoked when we disconnect the app.

7. Security

Access to admin tools is limited to AO operators. Sessions use HTTPS. No method of transmission is perfect. Do not send bank details or passwords to this site. We will never ask for them.

8. Children

The program is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we did, we will delete it.

9. California privacy rights

If you are a California resident you may request: (1) what we have collected about you, (2) deletion of what we are not required to keep, (3) correction of inaccurate account data. Email service@balavedians.com from the address on your application. We will not discriminate against you for making a request. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in the CCPA / CPRA.

10. Your choices

Do not apply if you do not want us to store the form.
Stop using the dashboard and ask us to offboard you.
Email a deletion or access request (section 9).
Unfollow or block @balavedians on Instagram or TikTok like any other account.

11. International visitors

The site is hosted in the United States. If you apply from elsewhere, you understand your information is processed here.

12. Changes

We will post updates on this page and change the effective date. Keep using the site after a change means you accept the new version for future use.
